The Original Z

The Original Z (formerly known under an infringing candy brand name) is a globally acclaimed indica-dominant hybrid, approximately 60–70% indica and 30–40% sativa. Bred from Grape Ape and Grapefruit crossed with an undisclosed third strain, it emerged from Northern California under the stewardship of 3rd Gen Family and Terp Hogz. Celebrated for its candy-like tropical fruit aroma and flavor, it delivers a balanced experience: an uplifting cerebral buzz followed by a deeply relaxing body effect, without heavy sedation. It won 1st Place at the 2016 Emerald Cup and multiple Cannabis Cups. In 2023, the name was officially rebranded to 'The Original Z' following a trademark settlement with a candy company.
