The strain is named after 'Poochie,' the grower/breeder who originally held the Papaya cut and introduced it to Harry Palms. It rose to prominence between 2020–2022, becoming a staple on solventless hash rosin menus in California, Colorado, and Oregon. Highly regarded by hashmakers for its exceptional ice water hash yields and syrupy papaya-guava flavor, it has earned a reputation as both a flavorful smoke and a solventless production workhorse. THC content has been lab-tested as high as 28%, making it a potent choice.
