California Orange

California Orange — also known as Cali-O, Cali Orange Bud, and C.O.B. — is a legendary old-school cannabis strain dating back to at least the 1970s California hippie era. Its exact parentage remains unknown, but it is widely documented as a stabilized 50/50 indica/sativa hybrid. Dutch Passion Seed Co. discovered and preserved the genetics during a California tour in the 1970s, bringing them to Amsterdam and selectively breeding the strain for the European market in the 1980s. It is celebrated for its intensely citrusy orange aroma, balanced hybrid effects, and award-winning terpene profile — having won multiple cannabis cups including events in Spain and Argentina.
