Indica-Dominant Hybrid
Big Buddha Cheese
Big Buddha Cheese, also known as 'BBC,' is a legendary indica-dominant hybrid (60% indica / 40% sativa) originating in the United Kingdom. Created in 2004 by breeder 'Big Buddha' by crossing the iconic clone-only UK Cheese with a pure Afghani male, it became the first widely available seed form of the Cheese lineage. It is an award-winning strain, taking home the 2006 High Times Cannabis Cup in the Indica category. The strain is celebrated for its signature pungent cheese aroma, its surprisingly balanced and uplifting high despite its indica dominance, and its ease of cultivation.
